Great episode. I'm not a trainer but I think it would be a good idea for A-train and Beeman to get matching track suits. Also, I can recommend a Concept 2 rowing machine as a worthwhile investment.

I like the assumption that all the listeners are big fat fucks in black t-shirts. I don’t need this challenge because I’m a woman so I’m obviously under 110 pounds and younger than 23. One of the major problems with American consumerism is that it has become normal to eat take out every night.

I was 200 and got down to 140 then when i stopped counting i went up to about 155 where it has stayed. The diet really helped me understand how much food I actually need and that cravings and "hunger pangs" are not signs that I need to eat but some weird symptom of food addiction.

I lost 100lbs in 10 months doing 1200-1500 calories a day. I've since gained back 40lbs over 4 years. It's 90% diet and 10% exercise, for me anyway. I work an active job. But I stopped calorie counting. This podcast has inspired me to resume a healthy lifestyle!

Yeah but what’s the calorie intake when you eat your own shit?

1200 calories and 1 walk around the reservoir a day and you will lose 30 pounds easy. No gym, no weird diets. A train you can eat all the fries you want. A medium fry from Macdonalds is like 400 calories which leaves you with 800 calories for the rest of the day. That’s like a huge bowl of broccoli with butter and chicken. If you mess up one day don’t quit or restart just keep going!! If you can make it a month doing that then you can think about gyms and carb cutting and stuff. Honestly cutting carbs is harder than the gym.
