Added 2024-04-24 18:24:57 +0000 UTCWas working on the background for the next page today and realized this was also the first background I'd made for Tamberlane ever. So I thought it might be nice to show exactly how much better i've gotten since early 2016 :3
You can see I've got a much better handle on texture, structure, and light. I also have MUCH more patience to sit and work on something. The new BG took about 7.5 hours -- it could have been less, but I really wanted to see how it would turn out if I put a little more "oomph" into it.
Comics sure do teach you a lot.

I'm easy. They both look awesome to me. I still love the warmth of the older one while loving the detail of the newer one.
