That's awesome! I think you'll love the extended range. I think 7 is probably just enough for the majority of people who are looking to play this type of music. I'm in talks with Chapman guitars right now about putting together a 7 model! I just can't help myself with strings I guess haha anyway, have a good one!

I guess some fans will tab out your songs anyways, but it won't probably be 100% accurate, but that doesn't matter. I do understand about the T-shirts, but just know that for me it would be super cool with an awesome Scallon shirt to wear on my covers! I have the Anchor T-shirt for now though ;-) Thanks a lot for answering!

And I really wanted to get it tabbed out but it became clear that I would have needed to delay the album for much longer to get it done, I'm actually thinking about hiring someone to transcribe the album for me as I just don't have time to get that done, but it's expensive so it's not a sure thing. And thanks for being interested in The scene is Dead merch, this was another plan for it but didn't really come through. Posters are a maybe but probably no T-shirts for now. I'm a bit hesitant to have my own T-shirt, idk it's a bit weird I think for me to have a t-shirt idk

I think it will be interesting to do acoustic stuff with more heavier songs, so I look forward to trying that out. As for tabs, it's probably for the best for me that there's none, because I would really need some ear training (I'm so used to learning by tabs). Anyways, I'm really looking forward to the album and your future videos. And by the way, do you have any plans of releasing t-shirts or posters with the new album art? Really loved the Anchor poster! :)

I think seeing people cover my songs, particularly when they put their own spin on it, is one of the coolest parts of being a musician. I originally planned for this whole album to come with all of the songs tabbed out through bandcamp but I just never got around to tabbing it all out.

I just pre-ordered the new album on DFTBA and I'm super stoked for it :-) I made a Percussive Acoustic Cover on Rain some time back if you remember, and I want to make more covers like that in the future. Hopefully you and others will find it interesting with some "unusual" covers of the new songs on the album. Can't waaaaaait!

This time around I won't have any signed, at least not in any official way, since there's already such a wait for them to be pressed I'm choosing for them to go straight from pressing to DFTBA where they can ship out right away.

That would just delay the album so much longer and I'm not sure what the chances of someone out there having a 9 string and learning half the tunes would even be.

But the vocals album would have been all over the place with different vocalist and not every song I think would benefit from having lyrics. So I decided I'd put out an instrumental album and then if I so fancy I can put out lyric-version as singles as they come.
