yay, my Chappers comment got mentioned. ^_^ I live out in the country with no music stores around, so unfortunately I've never gotten to try one of his guitars in person, but they look and sound great from the demos they've posted. I love the tone of his signature Silverback amp, too. If I did music professionally instead of just for fun (and had the room and money), I'd plunk my $ down for one in a heartbeat. Really looking forward to the new Dorje album, too. All those guys are crazy talented.
As to the Metallica vs Megadeth thing, I've been a big fan of both of them for nigh on 20 years. I can understand some people having problems with things Metallica has done over the years or with certain members (especially Lars) or they just plain don't like them. That's fine. I can respect that. What I don't understand though is why some feel the need to be such vicious buttheads about it. Live and let live. Or here I guess it would be listen and let listen.
