Interactive Ground Fog - FILES

I was recently reminded about the cool ground fog in Mario Odyssey by this tweet https://twitter.com/Patrickd3/status/1351245697845239809

I'd always wanted to give it a try, and then I realised I had the fx setup done already from the original Environment Interaction post, and more recently the Fog of War render texture post. So here's the Fog of War, without the Of War.

Just like the Fog of War, make sure the particle systems that spawn the trails are on the correct layer that matches the Culling Mask of the envIntRTCam Camera, and is likewise absent from the Culling Mask of the Main Camera.

so you don't support URP even if you know that built in pipeline must become obsolete? i buy ASE because i want use with mobile device and hope that this can help to have stunning effect but in this mode i can't sure. Need support for URP and valid tutorials soon, i hope you want consider this.

Yes I'm sure it is possible to use these with the scriptable rendering pipelines, but they need reworking, I don't think they'll work out of the box - it might? I have successfully brought a similar system across to HDRP with some tweaks, so I'm sure URP would be possible as well. Just to set expectations properly, as mentioned on the frontpage: "I do NOT currently support the Scriptable Render Pipelines (URP or HDRP), only the Built-in Render Pipeline." So I'm not able to port it across for you unfortunately, sorry about that. But if you want to try yourself I'm happy to help on discord with any problems you run into. Most of it should be exactly the same.
