Hello!
The type of content I’ll be producing for patreon will likely change over the next few months, from almost entirely (100%) shaders and effects, to other game assets, such as 3d models, textures and perhaps some animations too. Still with a focus on non-photorealistic and stylised aesthetics. I’d like to start creating more assets for my own personal game project which is based in a fantasy setting, so expect weapons, trees, castles and monsters. The good stuff.
There will still be shaders, I will still make effects, but it will be less generic and broadly applicable and more specific to the game I'm making. Less lighting and cloud systems, more tornados and magic missiles.
This isn’t the type of content you have come to expect, so I’m letting people know before the 1st of November and you’re billed for the month. This is a good time to withdraw your support if you’re only here for shaders and effects, and I promise I won’t take it personally! I want everybody to be happy with what they get out of this patreon, and I’d prefer people to leave and then maybe come back in a few months or years if/when there’s enough good stuff to entice them back in. Please do not feel obligated to stick around.
If anybody doesn’t see this message in time and gets charged for next month but wishes they’d withdrawn their sub, please let me know because I’m able to issue a refund through Patreon for the last months payment, so let me know asap.
If you're leaving for now, or forever, thank you so much for the patronage you've given me so far, I appreciate your generosity and support so much, and I hope I've been able to help you in your own game development journey.
If you do stick around, thank you! I hope the stuff I produce in the future excites you as much as I’m excited to work on it.
Stay safe. Be kind. Make cool stuff.
