I'm on TicToc???

First of all, I'm on TicToc. With all the kids. Yikes! A friend tipped me off that there's a ton of art and timelapse videos there, and that you can easily put music on your work. So it's a worthwhile experiment. And it might be a perfect place for my Daily Ink Monsters. Swiping through videoes does make me feel old. Veeeeery old... #Coronart day 5. Spread. Artists all over the world are struggling with the lockdowns. Amateur or professional, join in on spreading a little beauty, creativity, fun and awareness, by posting new art under the #coronart tag. 

Today I'd like to give a shout out to my friend Costin Chioreanu. Costin is probably one of the hardest working people alive, making cover-art, videos, design, merch, and everything for everyone. At The Gates, Leprous, Ghost, Enslaved, Einherjer, and ton of other known and unknown bands, in addition to doing design for more metal festivals than just about anyone else. And then he finds time for his personal art, which is fucking amazing, and he used to play with his band Bloodway, and just released a solo album last spring called "Afterlife Romance", and has a new band called ARAC Ensemble, and he was supposed to debut his Virtual Reality experience at the Inferno Festival. But guess what? Inferno is cancelled. So is Costin's exhibition of work inspired by Katatonia. And probably he will have more festival appearences and exhibitions cancelled then just about anyone else. 

Which on one hand means he will get more time to do his own projects, and maybe even time to work on some of the secret projects we have planned. Shhh! Don't tell. 

Now what bothers me most about Costin... No, bothers me is too mild a word. What straight up pisses me off about Costin is that he does all this amazing work, and HE NEVER FUCKING REPEATS HIMSELF! Each work is a fountain of creativity, with it's own world of magical symbology. I can hardly think about a more inspiring person, and I'm so glad to call him my friend, and that such a man can exist in a world such as this.
