No, honestly, I find the contest delightful, and a great way of pushing myself, and I'm very satisfied with the result so far. One day... one beautiful day, I will win! And what do you win? Nothing but the honour.

About the piece... I seldom go full political in my art, but I don't mind it either. And my views on Trump or Putin or anyone shouldn't really be a surprise or secret. I think they're scum. But this isn't about singling out one side or the other as scum, but just shining a little light on the terrible freak show that is international politics today. And if you recognise more populist right-wing politicians than left wing ones(There are both hidden in the art), it's not because I went out to paint any side as specifically bad, but because there are some really ugly faces I wanted to include.
