Just wanted to say a special thanks to my supporters on Patreon. I couldn't do this without out. Also, check out new works in progress in my work-update gallery:

Here's a post about the past year and the next year from my Facebook page:
GODT NYTTÅR! HAPPY NEW YEAR! FELIZ AÑO NUEVO!
Thought I'd take a minute to assess the year, and lay down some plans for the next year. Here represented by an unfinished oil painting I'm working on.
Last winter I made a huge decision for me personally, and officially quit making comics. That was hard for me, but every day of this year has confirmed for me that it was the right moved. It has allowed my mind to expand and see the world fresh, revealed to me how limited my artistic abilities are and how narrow my vision was. It has made me exhibited about the very act of putting lines and marks on surfaces again on a daily basis, instead of just glimmers once in a while as it was.
After experimenting with different techniques all spring, I fell in love with oil painting late summer. The feeling is close to what I felt when I fell in love with my Pentel Colour Brush back in 1997. It's incredibly hard, frustrating, ripe with failure, but at some level it feels like an extension of myself to a field where possibilities are endless.
Adding to that, it seems so complimentary to my work in ink. Every time I work in oil, I learn something about ink, and vice versa.
So forging ahead, this will allow me to make both more art and better art, and release it all for free use.
During 2018 it seems more people I've talked to have been fed up with the bullshit of our current copyright laws, felt the need for laws that allow for sharing and protect artists and consumers alike. Bands I've worked with, like Psykopath and Faanefjell have been on board so that the artwork will be made available for free use in the future, and other bands such as Laang 冷, Beyond Grace, and A Mournful Path have used my already free art. I'm certain I've forgotten some people who have used my art, so sorry about that.
I already know a couple of very cool things using my free art, slated for next year, and hope there will be more.
I've grown my Facebook page as large as I can orrganically, without using exuberant amounts on it. Next year I will try to make my other accounts grow as well, such as instagram and youtube. And more importantly relaunch my patreon campaign. And most importantly relaunch my website, so that I have an independent place on the net. I know websites are "out", and social media are still full of potential, but it's important to be somewhere where you're not at the mercy of big corporations. Especially when you're preaching a philosophy that is ad odds with the perceived interests of such corporations.
Most exciting for me is just the potential of working in a new medium, oil, and really getting better at my choosen medium, ink. I'm in some talks for some exciting things, but there's a whole world to explore. So if you have a space for exhibiting original art, know someone who does, or just have an idea, please contact me. I'm more open to anything than anytime before.
Different things already planned will be announced all through 2019, and hopefully joined by things I have no idea about yet.
So lastly, a huge thanks to everyone who have supported me this last year. Whether you are a patreon-supporter, if you used my art, bought my art, shared my art, commented and pressed like, or just talked to someone about the work I do, you are absolutely invaluable to me. You are the reason I'm doing this.
The painting attached to this post represents 2019 for me. It's raw, it's messy, it's unfinished, it might turn out completely different, but it has potential and I am excited about it.
Thank you, love you all, and have a great year!
