I loved the story about seeing Mortal Kombat in theaters. I had a similar experience when I saw Fellowship of the Ring. I was at the perfect age to take everything dead serious, and the memory of the emotions I felt during that movie have always stayed with me. I knew nothing about LOTR, and I distinctly remember feeling despair about their chances of survival. Childhood is wild

2025-07-14 16:02:27 +0000 UTCI'm reminded of Fable 3, where it doesn't tell you you're starting the last mission of the game. If you're not prepared there are consequences and a lot of players really hated that. Wonder if parts of the industry took the wrong message from that backlash.
