Welcome to the first topic submission post for the Patreon Exclusive series, TOPIC ZONE, where I give my thoughts on topics and games you'd like to hear me discuss in a more freeform fashion. Each patreon tier will get its own post for you all to submit your topics too. TOPIC ZONE isn't voting based like the patreon voted review. Instead, the submissions are selected based on a random lottery system and each tier gets its own number of slots. The Gentry get 3 topic slots, the Illuminati get 2, and the Homies get 1 for a grand total of 6 topics I will cover each ep :-) So go ahead and post your topic submission right into the comments of this post and I will record the ep on 11/18/24 :-)

Does randomness/RNG truly ruins competitive integrity or can it enhance it even? 2) Your thoughts on WRPGs vs. JRPGs. As well as critiquing both JRPG and WRPG design and it's effect on the gaming landscape. 3) Thoughts on games and gamers becoming too "sweaty" and the eSports side of gaming.

Vertizontals seem to have a sort of "bad rep" among many folks in the shmup community, despite having a pretty shockingly high density of absolute bangers (imo), even beyond stuff nearly everyone loves (RSG, Mars Matrix, etc) onto stuff that is a bit more niche but imo just as amazing (Sonic Wings 2 and 3, Zero Gunner 2 (ZG2 is a bit different but you get the idea))
