2022-11-02 21:27:18 +0000 UTCIt's such a modern game! Mostly a boss rush which was not a thing back then. The parry and invincible dash feel very "2010". Weapon setup and ammo preservation paired together are interesting new mechanics as well. And being able to hang still in the air... It's not my style of run'n'gun but I like how hard they tried to propose something completely fresh and how ahead of their time they ended up being. Definitely a game I would evoke if I had to talk about the evolution of run 'n gun.
