So far I have been doing a pretty good job on my resolution and have been getting more sleep without really slowing down my work schedule. it's cutting into my tekken time a bit, but that's ok ha. I'm really glad you enjoy the podcasts! They are a fun time to record and I definitely know what you mean about having something fun to listen to while you play. At this stage I don't think I could make an editor work financially, but my goal of improving my editing skills this year should help a lot!

So I am hoping future slams will grow to be interesting and cool enough to attract more international travel, but yes for this first go around the scale is going to be pretty small ha. Yeah the sandwhich catering idea is a fun one, I'll probably try to get that pinned down cost wise as we get closer.

Yeah I am going to really give a lot of thought on how I want to do kumite the 2nd time around. it's a different sort of challenge then slam because it's much easier to actually run (stream wise and all) but I think the format is trickier to market and communicate so i'm going to be thinking a lot about presentation this time around.

Maybe get someone else to run the Kumite - Aktane/Rezardi/Chinopolis and others have been running loads of single kumite matches over the last few months and they might be keen to help organise/run it.

I live in the UK so no chance of me being able to go to shmup slam but I'd definitely be happy to donate to a gofundme for the buffet too, anyway as always, best wishes!

Perhaps you could look around for an editor?? I'm really appreciative that you reply to comments - that is pretty rare and i'm always a touch conscience that i'm taking up some of your time, when you'd do so much already. I personally love these pods as well as your out front pods - my habit is to listen to them while gaming and it's good company. If you had a second channel - you could/should just upload when you feel like it. I'm looking forward to the slam and probs would bid on somebodys badge if i saw it on the bay.
