This is the first "unchained" episode of the podcast (non-shmup related). This isn't going to be a super regular thing so no need for my shmup homies to get fired up. A new shmup episode is already in the works.
On this episode I get to talk about an awesome indie platform-fighting game that I've dabbled with since September 2015, Rivals of Aether. My guest, Bumblebomb, is a passionate community manager and commentator for the game. We go all in on Rivals in this episode, from the mechanics, design, OST, to community history and future plans. I think this episode is a really fun listen and it is my hope that there might be some cross pollination between the communities of Rivals and shmups.
