Added 2021-01-22 20:21:26 +0000 UTChi everyone, I hope you're all doing okay this evening! thank you for your feedback and thoughts on yesterdays post- I'm going to try and sit down now (wednesday willing) and answer them ðã°ïļ
after posting yesterday I spent the rest of the afternoon/evening thinking hard- not only about whether I could justify the spiral binding but also about whether there was a way to make the zine a lil more interesting/worthwhile in general, and so now I'm back with a new question (and some test pages) for you ðð
would you be interested in the sketchbook zine being more of a sketchbook *and* art-book zine? with photographs, illustrations, a lil more text and thoughts about my work, and obviously- sketchbook pages ð
I've attached some examples above, though a couple of them are a lil rough at the moment ð working this way I could probably bump the zine up to around 100 pages- which financially makes a bit more sense as a lot of the money in print costs is to do with the set up, so I'd basically be printing more zine for the same costs as before. this would allow me to charge a bit more and maybe fund the spiral binding ðĪ
please let me know what you think, and if there's anything you'd like me to include in the zine drop me a comment! happy to include particular artworks, photographs, or write a lil about a topic that you're interested in, etc.
