thank you for voting in the poll yesterday! i won't reply to everyone individually because a lot of the responses were (understandably) very similar and i'm not sure how many different ways i can type "thank you" before seeming insincere 😅 but thank you- your advice and sentiments were greatly appreciated and i'm so grateful to have such kind support.
i'm going to aim to update this space little and often, as many of you seem to enjoy my smaller updates- i won't verbally commit to every day as (like many of you pointed out) this may not always be feasible, but i will post as often as i can (and want to).
it's going to be a quiet week for me until friday, i think! i mostly just have a lot of small tidying and dull admin bits to do from home, then on friday i'm travelling to my dads (by car, not train 😷) to spend halloween with him. i'm excited to share our decorations with you! i've attached photos of some of the bits i'm taking with me below- i mostly try to buy things that can be kept and used multiple years in a row, so i have another box in my cupboard to bring, too.
we're both probably a bit too excited as we haven't spent halloween together in years, so i've bought things like matching halloween socks 😅 and we've made a pact to only wear halloween and horror themed shirts all weekend lol. we've also found lots of halloween themed snacks this year (very surprising for the uk, 2020 wins one (1) point) so hopefully it'll be a really lovely time 🎃♥️
i know most of us are having quiet halloweens in, but are any of you also slowly prepping? i've built lots of small traditions over the years (despite slowly losing the battle of halloween (un)popularity in the uk) and would love to hear about any of yours- do you eat specific foods? watch specific films? do you have preferences for decorations? 🔎
