I recall a rapper by the name of Lord Infamous. I never bought any of his music, just heard him when he featured on some of Triple 6's songs. I finally did recently and, yes, that mess was straight demonic. Top Authority's, a rap group from Flint, Michigan, music also has that same energy. Their music is similar to NWA but a lot more horrific. You're also correct with rock music/heavy metal. There are subgenres like Black and Death Metal. A metal band called Behemoth is straight satanic. The lead singer of that band is a satanist, he stated as much himself. I enjoy music, so I've done a lot of research on various genres.
2024-02-10 06:38:40 +0000 UTCI'm somewhat biased towards Katt because he's from my generation. I grew up watching Dave and Chris Rock, but Pimp Chronicles came out when I was in college. So I got Katt up there with them. In fairness, you kinda know what you're getting with Katt as a comedian. The first 10 minutes is him talking about the city he's in, acclimating himself with the crowd. Then it's physical comedy (which I also think he got from JB Smoov along with that joke he stole/remixed from JB) current events jokes and relationship jokes. I just think the brotha has great comedic timing and delivery which elevates his formula. But to your point about Katt as an actor, his first role he plays a rape victim, his 2nd role he plays a choir director aka a gay man. Hmmmm....
