In Australia the party that we in America would call conservative is actually called Liberal Party of Australia and they profess social conservatism and economic liberalism. Australia new MP is part of Australian labor party which support democratic socialism of industries. Shinzo was part of Liberal Democratic Party of Japan and which is maybe what we would call a moderate democrat as they are socially liberal, support wealth redistribution but limit state power. Winston Churchill switched parties twice from Conservative to liberal then back to conservative over taxes If i remember correctly. Liberal in Foreign countries seem to relate to less meddling with business and conservative more meddling. The reverse of how we apparently do it. America form of liberalism seem to personify what it meant when it was utilized to overthrow kingdoms in Europe during 18th and 19th century being personal freedom and or equality since most people under feudalism would be considered 2nd class citizens or lower unless part of nobility. Considering the whole anti-semite stuff in the news and who are the real “jews”, I think it is revealing to say the least. It shows Jewish Historical Pageant At World's Fair 1933.
