I have a little bias as far as women in [secular] leadership roles but def understand your point. I managed in the shipping and emergency fields and before I decided to step down, I was thinking a lot about the effect being an authority figure was having on me. In order to be successful, I had to be like a man. I had to be stoic, to the point and give a number of altumatums. I couldn't relax and I had to accept that people were going to talk crap about me regardless of my sacrifices for them. All that made me manish. Un-doing that is a slow process but I'm not entirely sure I want to change that much lol. The stoicism is playing in my favor. Atleast I smile now 🤣

Bro I never thought my mother would try to come to blows with me over the damn Covid vaccine. My grandfather, grandmother, step grandmother, little sister and step dad all got Covid accept me and my mother and we all live in the same house. I took care of my grandfather before he went to hospital and end up passing including his wife. Everyone was on my ass and still to this day I am the only in house not vaccinated. My uncle disowned me and said I couldn’t go to his house no more until I get the shot. Even my cousin and best friend who usually rebel against anything was on me about it. But I had faith and held to my belief in the Most High and the scriptures and with support of my mentor it didn’t face me through the process. Even my dad and I don’t speak no more.
