I guess the most recent patriarchal movie when it comes to Hollyweird films was Top Gun: Maverick which the conservatives have high praise for. The liberals/progressive want an egalitarian society so they disliked that film because it had no woke/lgbtq themes. The conservatives want a society similar to how this film was depicted. The white mail patriarchal figure in the foreground leading America into the future and in the background the different races of people allying themselves and assisting him in that endeavor minus the lgbtq/woke nonsense.
