I believe you’re mixing up police with incarceration. Jail and prison potentially discourages people from committing crimes, not the presence of the police. I’d say most people aren’t as worried about police specifically as much as they are of being locked up and everything that comes with it.

Yes, on a traffic citation you driver’s license serves as your bond. Once you’re caught on a traffic violation, your detention serves as arrest pending your ability to produce a valid driver’s license. Great point.

While the police might not prevent crimes, the presence of the police could discourage people from commiting crimes. I think that there would be a higher number of crimes if there are no police, since the police functions as reprecussion. Granted, if most people are armed, there would be less need for deterant from police. Tldr police is not just garbage men but also garbage repellent in most senarios

If you don’t sign the citation the officer has a right to arrest you or supposed to arrest you for not complying. “By signing the traffic ticket, you remain free and retain the right to show up at the hearing to contest the issuance of the citation or summons. A person is free to refuse to sign the traffic ticket; however, the police officer is free to place him/her under arrest and take him/her into custody”. I get the criticisms of the manosphere, but I am not as hostile to it as some. I actually believe the manosphere can be useful in opposing the overall societal view that women are angelic beings who need men to step up to their level so they can be in relationships. This society exalts women and degrades men. Which is why I am thankful the manosphere exists to counteract a lot of that propoganda. There are decent channels that give a fair approach to critiquing women. Mansophere Highlights Daily, Poor Man Podcast, MTR and Coach Greg Adams are a few examples.

In addition to the dumb woman, there was a pastor in the South who got arrested because he didn't want to show his id. I want the younger brothers to realize that this police brutality stuff is mostly narrative driven. Like it or not police have the right to detain, arrest and identify you. Don't become a lawyer when police approach you. Be respectful, cooperate and follow orders. If you do that, 99.9% of the time, you go home safely. Simple stuff, but some people are attached to the "police are corrupt" narrative. Sure some of them are bad. But not nearly to the degree that the liberal media would have us think.
