Because my husband and I watch a lot of SEC football, we've had our suspicions about Burrow. If I'm correct, Burrow wasn't doing too well at Ohio State and Justin Fields all but solidified that he wasn't going to receive much playing time. Then, reports came out that Burrow was heading to LSU. We didn't think much of it, however, after about 2 to 3 games he started to gain popularity. Still didn't think much until LSU played Alabama. Saban was infuriated over either LSU's play calling or the routes the WRs ran. Still, after Bama's loss noone cared because most of us were happy Bama lost. However, LSU went on to win a NC and it eventually came out that Coach O hired former NFL coordinators. Didn't seem like much of a big deal until nearly all of them left after that 1 season, Burrow becomes the number 1 draft pick, LSU declined after that season and Coach O eventually retired.
