Life update and Koi Fish Sneak Peek

Hope you are doing well. It's been a good while and I feel bad for my absense. The past two months have been crazy, with a lot of insights and both good and bad stuff. The people who've been following me around for a bit longer know I've been struggling with some health issues that affected my hands. After months of searching, I finally found the reason why I'm having these issues, and I'll be having rehabilitation and physical therapy to counter these effects soon. Apparently I have a genetic connective tissue disease, which basically means I'll need to be careful how I go about using my hands (among other things) while drawing as it's easy for me to overload my hand joints and muscles. I've been wondering whether to dump all this info on you guys as well, but I feel like it's important to be transparant here, especially on a Patreon where people can assume they receive rewards for their patronage during the month.
To be fair, after hearing about the diagnosis, for a moment it scared me away from picking up my drawing tablet and drawing for a bit.
That being said, a good thing happened as well a month ago. While I was still trying to work out the fact that I suddenly have a diagnosis, I was approached to make a series of 3d animal commissions that I'm allowed to share here on Patreon as well. It reminded me that yes, maybe I work a bit slower, but if I am careful with myself and train, I'm still able to do the things I love so much.
So that's where we're at now. I hope to be more active on here soon, as I navigate my way through dealing with my own health issues while continuing to create.
As of now, have a sneak peek of a Koi Fish that I've been working on! I'm kind of thinking of making an Koi dragon version to match it. What do you guys think? :)
