Sorry for the delay, I had an intense weekend of celebrating my birthday with the people closests to me (in phases, to make stuff coronaproof of course). It was interesting, not being able to hug and get near each other, but I had a blast.
Meanwhile, the painting contest ended and it's time to announce the winners! So without further ado:
In third place: Jim with his awesome rendition of the Red Fox! I absolutely love the nice solid colors together with the vivid base. Congratulations, Jim, you win the right to choose the next generic animal I will model as a Patreon reward!
In second place: Sabrina with her version of the Himalayan Yak Monk! Amazing job, Sabrina, I love the colors you picked, down from the nice off-white fur to the light wood tones of the bow. You win the right to choose a fantasy/mythological creature that I will model as a Patreon reward.
And now, in first place: Hathoria, with her gorgeous paint job on the Eurasian Lynx. I am in love with those piercing eyes and subtle fur colors blending into each other. Congratulation, Hathoria, you win a fully custom 3d model, made by me!
A huge thank you to all three participants for their wonderful jobs. As always, seeing my models being printed and painted is the highlight of my day, and I considered these contest entries as early birthday presents <3
More painting contests will be coming in the near future, so keep an eye out for those if you're interested.
