You travel through the Deep Dark Woods. Sure, you could have taken the path around, but in this way you cut at least a couple of hours on your way back home. Suddenly a spiny shadowy figure draws your attention. Startled you turn, only to see a cherry blossom, vaguely human in shape. The branches kind of look like long fingers if you squint but it is the mask it has for a face, carved deep into the core of the tree, that makes you uneasy. Who would do that? And a Demon Mask nonetheless!
Quickly you turn to leave the tree far behind. Once you take a couple of steps, you hear the creaking sound of wood. Breathless you take a slow glance over your shoulder, only to see the tree has moved and the mask is staring back at you.
And here we go, the last model for May: the Cherry Blossom Oni Treant! I've been struggling hard to tame this beast, but I think things worked out and I really like the outcome now. Mind you, it's a big model, since I wanted to make sure the mask would stay in tact for FDM printing, but you could size him down quite a bit for resin printing ;) Sure, you could do the same for FDM printers, but just keep an eye on how much details you'll have left after slicing.
I hope you like him and thank you for your patience! As always, you can find the STL files in the Model Link Master Post, which is pinned for Patrons.
Cheers,
Michelle
