May progress
Added 2020-06-02 13:06:24 +0000 UTCEhh... I finished with April's batch of commissions on the 8th of May and then I was possessed by the idea to draw Lydia and Frank together which in the end turned out to be the most complicated illustration I made so far. It was finished on the 27th of May. While I'm proud of the results I also bothered by the fact I barely worked on my main project this month. This made me rethink my priorities and now I'm determined to dedicate as much time as possible to this project.
The last things that take my time are commissions since I still need to pay my bills and eat, and a collaborative project I subscribed to almost a year and a half ago, before I decided to start working on the cartoon. The deadline is getting closer so I need to finish what I promised to make. I really hate to break my promises...
On the actual progress, I made animatics for 5 scenes in the last couple of days but I had to remove two other scenes because one of them was a blooper (Lydia was picking up a spear while she already was holding it in the previous scene) and the other one didn't work with the map I made.

I apologize for a disappointing month and thank you all for staying with me and helping to keep working on Lydia's story!

Yes, truly disappointing a month. You're working alone on a monumental project and still trying to pay bills and do art for others. Consider that before downing yourself. You're doing very good ❤️
