Just a small edit: After second week into the struggle with configuration I now have to fully sympathise with your impressions about Nixos. It is truly and utterly frustrating to get into. Now I understand why everybody warned me, but I never listen xD

Loved your last podcast episode, btw :) Negative Nixos review would be awesome and highly welcomed, one gets quickly tired of all that praise everywhere xD In case you would like to give Nixos another chance in the future without having to suffer too much with their messy documentation, Vimjoyer's channel is where it clicked for me this week, as I just struggle wrapping my head around it myself, rewriting Zaney's flake to my own needs. Before that, friend of mine also showed me, how Nixos makes setting, running and maintaining all services and docker containers on home server much easier than it is with other linux host systems, so that might be another incentive to take a another look at it. Also, but I bet you know him already, Raid Owl is my go-to when dreaming about and planning my own future home lab setup. Thanks for all your content, don't forget to go touch grass at least once a week and keep it ranting! < 3
