**What have we been up to Linux related this Week?**

Tyler – I've been focused on making better thumbnails, trying to get ahead on videos, make more cool designs for merch, and find some time to work on the wagon.

Matt – I've been watching the guy behind Asahi Linux work on making it work on M1 Pro Macs. I have no clue what he's doing but it's kind of fun to watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5V4EJXPq6Q

1) TestDisk - https://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk    A free and open-source data recovery tool for recovering deleted data.

2) Brackets - https://brackets.io/    Brackets is a lightweight, yet powerful, modern text editor.

3) Subliminal - https://github.com/Diaoul/subliminal    An easy-to-use program that searches and downloads movie subtitles.

4) Laverna - https://www.fossmint.com/laverna-keep-your-notes-private/    A modern open-source Markdown editor with a sleek UI and a focus on user privacy.

5) Lollypop - https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Lollypop    While Rhythmbox looks out of place on a default GNOME desktop, Lollypop feels right at home. It takes design cues from the simple GNOME player, but it doesn't skimp on features

Comments

Brackets is owned by Adobe (I believe) and no longer maintained. When Dreamweaver redesigned they used Brackets. It sucked and Dreamweaver is dead now. Adobe just doesn't know it.
