I know it existed before the movie, but I think that they kept the name because of the movie. But as I said to someone else, it's an acronym, so it was probably just happenstance that it came out tot hat. But maybe I'm being too forgiving of them? IDK. I guess I just don't take offense too easily to things like that and have a hard time empathizing with people who do.
