I'm still using Ghostery Dawn but I've been experiencing more and more problems, I'm contemplating moving to brave. The last thing really keeping me in Firefox right now is the container addon.

2021-08-08 04:24:20 +0000 UTCI understand the complaints against using a proprietary browser. I wish I could continue to use Firefox. I really do. But a web browser has to work, and Firefox just doesn't render about 10 percent of the web correctly and that's getting worse. If Firefox gets better, I'll go running back to it. And it's not as if I'm married to Edge. If I could find another FOSS browser that worked, blocked ads very well, then I'd switch in a heartbeat.

2021-08-07 19:24:13 +0000 UTCOnce Chromium is the only rendering engine on the web, Google will be in total power of "web standards" and we will be going back to where web sites are made to only work for one engine. Like back in the days of Microsoft Internet Exploder 6.0.
