2017-11-06 05:52:09 +0000 UTCOne thing very impressive about Bell's defense, that you also mentioned, is his small-steps footwork. I noticed he can and does take very fast little steps. It means he can stay balanced in front of the ball and make adjustments quickly, and of course also allows him to time his jumps precisely. Quite a contrast with JaVale, who often relies on his length to try to block the guy from behind after the guy has blown past him. Bell can do that too, but I think his approach is more preventive.
