Also what TVs and settings are you guys running that you can never see a dark scene? An OLED and proper settings could fix it. Edit: after listening to the full episode I'm now convinced James needs a better TV and glasses. But seriously it isn't that most scenes now are darker, the cameras are just better and representing it on tv is usually done wrong by the average person at home, wrong settings and cheap TVs are often a cause.
