I think we are going to keep her around, but I'm going to try and do better about setting her up, and transitioning out into discussing the upcoming episode. And maybe asking her more about what she thinks of the movies. Thanks!

2024-10-23 18:34:46 +0000 UTCI'm fairly neutral about DH9K, I don't dislike it, but I feel like it's a completely disconnected 'bit' from the rest of the episode. Like, asking DH9K about what it thought of Robocop was fun. But sometimes it just feels like an announcement of the next week's episode that falls flat after the announcement, or like there isn't a plan for how to transition out of DH9K. And to get a new era of action stars, we would need a movie house like Cannon Pictures was. We need more Dumb Action movies that are fun.
