I'll be honest, I'd probably enjoy this episode better if it wasn't so contentious. Things got so heated that it's a little stressful to listen to, which is a bummer. But seriously, Bob's hot take on the Nolan trilogy was "Patrick Riley on Star Wars" tier. Level 100 rhetoric, level 100 passion, level 0 substance. And Bob is usually one of my favorites. I guess I gotta hand it to him, even if I don't respect his opinion on this. The guy is unapologetic about what he thinks, and the world is starved for people like that.

2025-01-03 23:44:41 +0000 UTCI can see fine in those movies. The only thing is the fights aren’t in perfect, full light, and they’re not filmed like a Mortal Kombat game. I never found the fight scenes disorienting, except for that one in the Narrows, which is the point, and I don’t know anybody who does.
