Jim Carrey’s behavior on the set of Man In The Moon was shit. Dude stayed in character the entire time, even when Andy Kaufman’s daughter was on set. He was literally pretending to be this woman’s deceased father while interacting with her.

The ubiquity of the word “reboot” started with Batman Begins, for one, and it popularized the “origin story” genre. Origin stories, by and large, SUCK. Most of the time, the entire damn movie is just one giant sequel hook, instead of being its own self-contained story. That’s why Power Rangers (2017) failed hard.
