Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!!
Added 2022-12-25 20:50:40 +0000 UTCIt has been a crazy run up to Christmas for us but we are finally – almost – ready!
We want to wish all of you wonderful Christmas, a Happy New Year and thank you from the bottom of our heart for you support and for being part of our journey!
For our big crossing we will only need to provision fruit and veggies now, get drinking water and scrub the hull.
We spend a lot longer in Cape Verde than anticipated but life just goes a little slower on the islands.
Just a few days ago we met another cruiser couple that will be buddy-boating with us.
After all it will be the longest and furthest we have ever sailed and having another boat with us, will be a great comfort. And it seems like a lot of people do this! 😅
We will both try to stay within VHF range (up to 50 NM) and hopefully be able to update each other on weather data.
Hopefully the passage will take us no longer than 3 weeks but we will be spending New Years in the middle of the Ocean.
So on Saturday at 23:59 have a drink on us, because we will be probably reefing haha!🤪
Don't worry our families will be uploading the videos for you guys late Wednesdays as usual.
