We are THE ONLY ONES here! We sail to famous Shipwreck Beach aka Navagio Beach or Smugglers Cove and find that we are the only sailboat around. As we drag the dinghy up the beach, we are indeed all alone, at this amazing spot in Zakynthos or Zante.

Many tourists travel from far and wide to take a selfi or the perfect Instagram shot of the most famous beach in the world. After a very special first coffee in the morning, we decide to quickly go back to SV CUBA and pack the drone video equipment. As we fly the drone, we capture some rare drone images of this spectacular place.

The MV Panagiotis has found its final resting place on this remote cove and is now the most famous shipwreck in the world. The high sandstone cliffs offer no way to escape the hidden beach.

Zakynthos offers many spectacular beaches but this one tops it all and has become a magnet for travellers. To see it like this makes it ever so much more special to us.

Hours are spent just exploring the wreck in every detail. At some point, a couple of base jumpers land on the beach but it still feels like time had stopped for us.

There is no other way to reach this hidden paradise other than by boat or by parachute.

Our visit to Shipwreck Bay could have not been more mesmerizing.

Usually, many charter boats and day charters, sail charter or tour boats anchor near this cove and it is a wonderful place to visit in the summer to spend the day.
