Kate's 2023 Commissions are open!

Heya everybody!

I wanted to announce that I am re-opening myself to commissions as of today to my Patrons exclusively! Meaning that you’re interested in having me write a story for you this would be that window period to do it. With that there are of course a few details and things to cover so if you’re interested in submitting a story for me to write, be sure to read over everything below.

The pricing for this round of stories will be as followed:

$40 per 1k words up to 21K

$45 per 1k words for stories over 21K words

I’m looking to open about seven slots to commissions and I’m going to first be open to all my Patrons first. Stories have a minimum of 5k words for length and I’m not aiming to take more than one 40k+ word story this time around.

I am also offering for the first time additional audio commissions that can either me full stories + a full reading from me or it can be an excerpt from a longer piece. Pricing here is more dependent on exactly what we’re doing so any questions about this please do ask.

As for how everyone should make their commission proposal to me, the below will cover everything that I will need. However failure to format a submission properly will not help it’s chances of getting done.

- Be polite.

- Include a one to four sentence breakdown of the story.

- Estimated length.

If you have multiple ideas, try to limit it to three in your message. If there are any ideas I don’t like I will be sure to tell you along with adjustments that could be made to make it workable if possible. Beyond that I might ask some added questions but that should be all that’s needed. If I have to turn down the idea but I’m open to it in the future I’ll be sure to say so. Wish I could take more stories but sadly there are only so many hours in a day.

When it comes to what sort of stories I’m open and not open to doing, a good general rule of thumb is if I’ve done it before in terms of a species or transformation I’m open to it again. For what I’m not open to or less inclined towards:

Never:

-Underage characters

-Vore

-Trademarked characters or preexisting universes (your own original characters are fine)

-Impractical nonsense monsters

-Twinning

Probably Not Interested:

-Primates

-Insect

-Aquatic

-Age

-Race

Does your idea include one of my preexisting characters (Shopkeeper) or continue an ongoing series (Try Not To Be A…)? I am open to such ideas just understand that any character or series will have to be in line with my intentions for the character. And note that some characters and series aren’t my own so their use may be denied entirely. If in doubt, just ask!

I will try to get back to every message promptly but as I am working while doing this, sometimes responses might be delayed but I will always get back to you. I’m available over Discord for questions but to help me keep things organized do please send the message through Patreon or email. I would greatly appreciate it. ^^

Lastly I have a small reminder for anyone looking to submit a story idea. If it’s a story where you know all the characters, exact scenes, and elements you want then it’s probably a better idea that you write it than me. I enjoy writing stories that allow me ample elbow room and space for me to get creative. If the idea comes off too restrictive and doesn’t let me add that Kate flavor then I’m pretty likely to pass on the offer. I’m more of a free range Kate as opposed to a caged one, so the more room I have to play the better chances I’ll accept it and make something truly unique for you.
