So I've decided to starting doing a lot more polls around here. Partially for the purpose of finding out what my readers enjoy in terms of content but also to spark some conversation. So for this and any future poll feel free to leave your thoughts below. Polls will also certainly have an influence on future content though not in the same way monthly story polls go. They'll usually be transformation related in some way but some general content and discussion ones might crop up too. I'll see about having a couple or more added polls a month. ^^
To kick things off we've got an ever relevant questions when it comes to transformation stories: how willing is the person being changed? Do you prefer them willing, unwilling, or with a mix of the two in varying proportions and arrangements? I've certainly run the gamut in regards to my story to the willingness spectrum. Personally I've always enjoyed the in over the head aspect that comes from willing to unwilling. But that's me. What are your thoughts?

I'd say I'm a big fan of tf getting out of hand as well as tf being unwilling. Like if they wanted the change but get more than they bargained for.

2023-08-09 13:56:14 +0000 UTCYou are right as a rule willing is only possible if one has previously dealt with the subject of transformation or simply thinks life as an animal would be much easier. The change from unwilling to willing can therefore only occur if the victims are not completely unfamiliar with the concept. I always assume that the sense of self is preserved. Perhaps there is very rarely the effect that with the merging of the personalities also the human being sees something good in his new situation. Somehow important is that the human personality makes peace with his new situation, otherwise it is a nasty fight until the end of his life.

2022-09-24 06:17:14 +0000 UTCTo me it's a mix both or simply either as long as subject gets to keep control and sense of self, that is an entirely different future poll though and will answer per my likings :P. If it's willing I imagine it's someone who has dealt with TF before and can change back as they please enjoying the experience OR someone who happily wants to buy a one way ticket to the animal kingdom both options enjoyable. If it's unwilling there's the trope of the victim begging for the changes to stop or to whoever transformed them which can also be a treat. If it's willing to unwilling maybe my fav combo. Someone who wants to be an animal and thinks they can change back later but due to unfortunate circumstances or subject's carelessness destiny has other plans leaving them to gripe with their new life :P Unwilling to willing has 99% of the time the subject loses to the animal, if you still have a sense of self in the end it's prob one of the darkest options that won't deny it's a curiosity as you technically make the victim "happy" with their choice

2022-09-24 01:31:29 +0000 UTCI like it when the beginning is unwilling, but it can change with time, then when the transformation has progressed so far that here the animal has taken the lead. But I like it just as much when the victim undertakes everything until the end to break out of the transformation and become human again.
