August Announcement & Reminders

Hi everyone!

The past few months I've made veiled references to a new sort of content that I would be coming to Patreon. Well I'm happy to announce that I'll be adding audio of readings of my stories along with excerpts from popular stories I've written. When it came to deciding who should do the recordings I realized there is only one person who can properly reading out my stories and that's yours truly. This content is made to compliment the writing that I already do, giving those who want to listen to stories that option. As Patrons, you'll get access to this content with no change in the pricing of any of the tiers. I'll add more solid listed bonuses in the future, with some higher tiers getting earlier access and more say in the content as a bonus.

Now to this end I need a little extra support from my patrons too. Namely to help me get the equipment that I'll need to provide the best quality recording for the situation. For that I have set up a Throne link below where you can donate money towards the purchase of the audio equipment I'll use for these recordings. As ever, I appreciate any support I get from my amazing patrons and plan to use this to hopefully enhance their experience. Those who donate will receive, aside from my gratitude, will get some story related bonuses too. ^^

Along with help with funding I also want to hear from everyone regarding some sections they would enjoy having read. Readings of full stories will be limited to smaller, select stories- some future tales may be tailored to being read- but I'm open to reading selections from any public story. Usually in the 500-1000 word range or a couple pages. Just include in the reply to this post the title of the book, where you'd like the recording to roughly start, and why you'd like that section covered.   I won't be able to get to each one, especially as I get my bearings, but the plan is for monthly content similar to what I already do.

I'm going at this from my storyteller's perspective of knowing it's not just the words I write but how they come off that matters. Hearing the writer herself guide you through my many tales and characters I think would be a wonderful addition to the writing I already do. And hopefully my voice isn't too grating either. ^^

I also wanted to make two more announcements. The first is for all my $10 and above patrons who haven't reached out or replied regarding the 2-3k words story you get with your tier. I want to make sure I have everyone covered who wants one so please do message me so I can get you into the queue. ^^
