Shopkeeper’s NEW Caged Assistant Auction! - BIDDING OPEN!

Most that have read any of my stories featuring the shopkeeper in the  least year have also found a rabbit in the back of the shop. This rabbit  was a former thief who, in ‘Buns of Steal’, came into the position. And  if you’ve read the most recent shopkeeper story (found here ) you know that the bun has been promoted to official shop assistant in training!

While we’re all happy for her promotion, this does leave a spot free and  the shopkeeper doesn’t like keeping around a cage if she doesn’t need  it. So how about we fill that cage up again?

Over the past year I’ve gotten a few requests from people looking to see  if the spot of store pet would ever be up for someone else to take that  spot. Since I got a lot of requests, I knew there wasn’t going to be a  perfect way for me to pick out of all of them so I’ve instead devised a  bit of an auction, a little similar to my CYOA-Patreon story, but this  one being open for all to see.

So I will be taking bids from today, as of right now, until January  15th, 2021 at noon Eastern Standard Time. At which point the highest  bidder will take the slot. If there is still bidding going on at the  last hour, I’ll let it continue with those already engaged in bidding  until they reach an end. Bidding will be done in increments of $10 each  and will start at a bid of $50 (USD).

This is what you’ll be bidding for:
-Your character turned into a cage worthy animal for the shopkeeper.
-An introduction and tf story of at least 5k ($150 commission value normally) words bringing your character into the cage.
-An outro tf story, of at least 5k words, that gets you out of the cage.
-During the time from your first time story showing up and for one  calendar year after, any shopkeeper story will feature your transformed  character.
-Unlike with the bun, I can’t guarantee future employment at the shop, sadly.

Those emails should have the headline, ‘Shopkeeper’s Caged Assistant – [Your Character’s Name Here]’

Then be sure to cover these details:
-Bidding name you’ll use.
-Name and physical description of your character.
-Species you want to be changed into. See later [Restrictions] for what animals are and aren’t allowed.
-A one or two sentence prompt that explains how your character lands in that caged situation for one year.
-How much you want to bid. Again, starting bid is $50 and bids above can  be made in $10 increments. If you want to simply provide a highest bid,  you are free to do that as well.

[Restrictions]:
-Animal must be able to fit in a rabbit cage (37" L x 19" W x 20"H) so  unfortunately no cows or dogs or massive dragons. If you’re looking for  ideas that DO work: minks, stoats, ferrets, mice, rats, or perhaps even a  bird, with the right species, would qualify but I’m open to other ideas  too.
-18+ age for characters.




Once your initial character pitch is accepted, I’ll also take your bid  if it’s the highest or I’ll inform you of the current highest bid and  see if you want to go higher. This goes until either you step out of  bidding or, as the highest bidder, you win the slot. There is only ONE  position available for this, though I do intend on making this a yearly  special event of sorts so it’s possible to still get on it in the  future. ^^
