Voting Results: Off to the playoffs

Pretty much every category has seen some dark houses take the lead and I'm loving it.
Now the four suggestions with the highest votes from each category will go to the playoffs.
Those will be decided by the higher tier patreons and the winner from each category will end up on the community poll on YouTube
Reminder: #1 From that poll instantly wins, while the #2 and #3 will come back here for you to choose for a patreon video
Note: Despite being the only scenario to crush its category, the East/West Rome scenario came in second last time and then lost the patreon vote to the Meteor, so it will also have to fight against the other 3 (great) options: Green Australia, American Horses and Persian Greece.

2025-05-05 22:22:55 +0000 UTCso excited for the Ming modernization video. Haven't looked forward to a video idea this much. But idk what kind of POD it would have. Maybe if the treasure fleets were kept around after Yongle? The later Ming seemed to have a lot of problems with corruption for it to be able to modernize. (or was it meant to say Qing because that would make a lot more sense?) If it was the Qing dynasty, then maybe if China kept the Jesuits around and the Dominicans didn't try to cancel them, maybe China could've caught up to Western 'modern' science and culture
