Honestly it took me a while to research this topic, but once I found the thread I quickly found out that I stumbled on gold.
This is such an amazing POD, suggested by one of you and I can't wait to hear your feedback!
I remember this one video about Napoleon being successfully assassinated on Christmas.

Hello! Cool videos. Is there a playlist for exclusives or will we have a problem finding them all after a year?

What is interesting, when it comes to France:
In our timeline the Prussians helped to put down the Paris commune.
Now that Cody had the Prussians defeat Napoleon III at Regensburg, these troops are hundreds of kilometers from Paris
+ Prussia would now be most occupied with keeping the inner stability of that state they created.
That could and would most probably force any Prussian government to direct 90% of its attention to domestic politics.

You definitely should continue this one. Biggest points of curiosity going forward to me are: what happens to France? In OTL they managed to rebound from the F-P War via colonial expansion and the Entente Cordial with Britain, but in this timeline, as you mentioned, the British are probably fed up with the French after the disastrous war they fought together. What is the future of the Mediterranean with Russian control of Constantinople? How does a larger, more unified Italy factor in the post war world, especially the Mediterranean with their new colony in Algers. What does the great game look like? Who does Britain side with in the coming Russo-German war? What if they stay neutral? How does the United States factor in? What does Japan do? A Russo-Japanese war seems less likely to be so one sided in this TL. Huge possibilities here, Cody

I doubt that Napoléon III would still be considered an autocrat at the time of the Great War. In OTL, the empire was transitioning to a democratic constitutional monarchy with Émile Ollivier (head of the government) saying "We will give him a happy retirement". And even if we assume the empire stays autocratic (which is unlikely), Napoléon III would still be dead by 1873 due to his many health problems, leading to his son becoming emperor (instead of dying against the Zulus like in OTL). I would also add that Napoléon III while still clearly less competent than Bismarck on foreign policy, he wasn't terrible either, most of his wars were successfull (outside of Mexico and Prussia) and he succeeded in bringing back France into the European Concert after decades of isolation (due to the Napoleonic Wars) and thanks to his friendship with queen Victoria paved the way for the Entente Cordiale. He also was very good with domestic policy, modernizing, industrializing the country and turning the slum that was Paris into one the best cities in Europe (if you forget the existence of Parisians). Great video overall but I had to say this as a French and Napoléon III enjoyer. *Merci et Bonne Chance pour la Suite.*
