AI Battle

This project has been an ongoing effort in the background since the first video. Its complexity has increased very quickly with each iteration, and I had not planned on doing a video about it (as seen in the first roadmap post) because I hadn’t achieved results worth sharing.

However, I recently made interesting progress, and my next video will be the third in the AI Battle series.

Plant adaptation: Plants are their own organisms, so they should evolve too, and although they don't have brains, they can have different features, such as poison, making it less favorable for prey but it reproduces slower, or size, making it harder to see, but easier for prey to eat, and the rest is up to you!

Zones: Certain areas that have different living conditions. Making so that if there is a mass extinction in one zone, the others live on, now I don't have may ideas for zones and ill leave you to decide on them, but I think it's a good idea.

Obstacles: walls that entities can not grow/go through to make isolated environments and possibly more complex behavior... somehow.

Fertilizer: The plant could theoretically attempt to eat food, but what I really mean by that is when a plant is touching food it could increase growth and slowly deplete the food, making for a more complex simulation.

Pheromones: I heard in your last video on YouTube you wanted to make a way for prey to communicate efficiently in a large crowd, a solution to that is pheromones! I think that it could make a way for all animals to see what's going on, the pheromones should not be seen by the eye but only sensed when an animal touches it. Preferably five different colors of pheromones should be the simplest and most effective.

It's great to hear you're going to make a demo, I really hope I will be able to see your amazing work for myself. In your latest video I saw how you added so much to the simulation, now I'm not asking you to do it again because that could be very time consuming, however I do have many ideas for you to hopefully bring slightly more stability.
