August New Release

In August the Shadow Stalkers specialty units step out from the darkness. The Butcher Champion is a towering and terrifying presence on the battlefield. His size makes him tough, skilled and deadly on his own, but can also imbue his unit with supernatural abilities. The Reaper Champion on Great Flayer takes the reaper mastery to the next level by riding a large shadow beast, going face to face against the biggest of foes. The Tormentors like to operate ahead of the rest of the force, getting up close to the enemy early where they can apply their poisons. The Reaper Flayers ride atop heavy shadow mounts while hunting their enemies. Skilled against larger prey, their great weapons and fast steeds allow them to make quick work of more difficult targets. The Great Horror is a dragon like creature of the labyrinth. One of the only creatures in the Shadow Stalkers menagerie that can fly, it can get to places most other Stalkers can’t, and uses its breath and claws to attack those under the shadow of its spread wings.

Also in August the High Elf Fleets get their Anti-Grav motors running with a pack of Jetbikes. The Elite Protector on Jetbike is the unifying leader that drives its pack to war. As a Psychic Oracle or Skilled Commander, its experience will bolster those it rides with. The Jetbike Protectors are blazing fast with lots of options for heavier fire power. The Jetbike Strikers are where a High Elf Fleets general will find all the close combat upgrades as they use their Jetbikes to close the gap between them and their enemies. The Acolytes on Jetbikes take their psychic magic on the move, always in the right place to boon their allies and bane their foes. The Heavy Jetbike is an extremely mobile heavy weapons platform. With its fast jets and long range heavy weapons, there’s no out running it.

The August Legendary brings the jungle to life for both the Saurians and the Saurian Starhost. The Deinonychus Diorama is a centerpiece of terrain that showcases the new mounted unit and leader. The Deinonychus Riders and Chief are the more Agile cousins of the Raptor Riders, able to navigate terrain more easily and leap at their prey, the riders attacking with poisoned lances. The Saurian Starhost version is more technologically advanced, with shock spears that pierce through even the heaviest of armors, or shock pistols for the same benefit but with extra range.

For Age of Fantasy: Quest a new hero arrives from the Rift. The War Daemon Barbarian channels his anger into his heavy axe. His ruthless nature being employed to help his party dispatch foes.

In August the Urban Terrain levels up in scale with the Urban Medium Terrain. This terrain pack designed to fill a bit more surface area of the table to create impassable areas that need to be maneuvered around to get the best tactical advantage.

For our 2D releases, you'll see Human Empire - Set #6 and the Saurian Starhost - Set #2 and a Paper Terrain set for them. The 2D models are a great way to prepare armies for games quickly!

Project Roadmap

In September the Shadow Stalkers slip out of the mists with the Phantoms and the Phantom Champion. Their smoky and ethereal bodies allow them to traverse the battle unburdened so that they can get close to throw their large powerful spears or charge in for an assault. The Phantom Champion empowers his unit with increased speed, accuracy or even a poison that coats their blades, making them even more formidable up close. Also in September the Shadow Stalkers Fang Swarms crawl out of every dark corner to overwhelm the enemy. Bogging enemies down so they have a harder time attacking. The Blind Behemoth is a dark angel from the labyrinth. Massive in size with anger to spare, this hulking creature is practically immune to magic while his great flail takes care of anything dealing in the physical realm. Last for the Shadow Stalkers in August is the Army Standard. Not a traditional flying piece of fabric, as the Shadow Stalkers can't see, it is instead a hollow tower of runes that creates a discordant melody as it's swung around.

Also in September the High Elf Fleets take to the sky with the Gliders. This specialty unit is meant to keep distance with the enemy but in the vertical as their long range weapons allow them to take shots from the sky. They can also be given grenade packs that they rain on enemies they fly over. A Noble Glider can join in on the ambush while bringing his increased selection of weapons and better martial skills. The Elementals also come to life in September. The Elemental Protectors carry large wraith weapons so heavy in their firepower that they're impossible to be carried by anyone else. The Elemental Strikers instead get equipped with large energy melee weapons, using their impressive frames to wield the impressive weapons in close combat. The Great Elemental is a fiery giant whose size allows it to carry an impressive arsenal. Any combination of heavy melee and heavy ranged weapons a High Elf General could want can be used to deadly effect by the Great Elemental.

The September Legendary is the Epic Titan Walker for the Blessed Sisters. This Titan Walker gets a holy makeover adding to its radiant splendor. It becomes draped with much more symbolic vestments including a halo to adorn its chassis and wings on its back to symbolize the angel of destruction that it is.

Oh, and in November we're releasing the Wood Elves. You can hear a lot more about them in our most recent live stream on our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpDFvEqfNLc

noticed no one replied to you - you get all the new welcome packs; it'll come through your MyMinifactory as OPR Welcome Pack #6, OPR Welcome Pack #7 etc... you should currently have #12 - presumably in October you will be #13.

Rhymes

Releases come out on the 4th of the month.

Aaron Morgan

So do existing members just not get access to updated welcome packs? 3 months in a row, my welcome pack hasn't changed. I was really looking forward to just demons and humans And I have submitted multiple support tickets that always go unresolved. What benefit it is to be a member for multiple months. If the entry package is better than the multi month reward teir 2 reward, that I also have yet to get

tanis pendragon

When does the August release come out?

Garpus

I'm hoping the wood elves look a little more elfy than the HEF. Septum rings and shaved heads just mean I'm only printing helmets.

Roy

Hell yes to the wood elves!!!

Dusky Lad

“Oops! All jetbikes!” Hehe, I’m soooo stoked for the jetbikes this month!!! Also, ahhhhhhhhh!! Wood Elves! I’m soooooo excited!!! Everything looks awesome as always! Great job!!

Emma Marx

The Roadmap shows Fang Swarms in Sep, so I assume the Reapers are Oct (last month of SS).

VexenX

oooh! loving the wood elf eternals and wild elves!

Jessica Pink

When are we going to get the regular Shadow Stalkers Reaper & the Fang Swarm, given that those are the 2 missing models that are in the list of starting units to use with the AoFQ Out of the Shadows narrative campaign?

Tim Nolte

Wood elves. That going to break the Internet. That's a hard army to field using just one stl vendor.

Mark Stone

I audibly "oooo"ed when I scrolled to the war demon Barbarian. I guess I know who I'm printing out when I get a printer. Lol

Michael Leyden

Beyond excited for wood elves in November!
