The International Video Game Hall of Fame
Added 2018-11-22 09:29:26 +0000 UTCOne year after the founding of Twin Galaxies, on November 30th, 1982, Ottumwa Mayor Jerry Parker proclaimed Ottumwa Iowa the "Video Game Capital of the World." It was in Ottuwa that Walter Day established the Twin Galaxies Scoreboard, which became the crossroads of the Golden Age of Gaming --- the place where many of history's greatest gaming champions gathered to compete. In commemoration of the "Birthplace of organized eSports." in Ottumwa, on November 10th, 2018 -- 37 years after from Twin Galaxies was created, the International Video Game Hall of Fame launches its official YouTube channel -- a channel created to commemorate and archive the history and culture of eSports. Walter Day and all the other competitors of the Golden Age are committed to provide their life's accomplishments in video to this channel. Please subscribe and share.
