Grimdark Future: FTL - Early Access in July

Yep, you read that title correctly, FTL is coming to the Grimdark Future!

Until now, FTL was set in a super generic universe, that was just a placeholder to give people an excuse to play with spaceship minis. However, ever since the game was first released, fans have been asking us to set the game in the Grimdark Future universe.

Over the last 6 months we've been working hard at making that transition happen, and starting in July we're going to be sharing an early access beta, featuring 2 brand new fleets. Then every month we'll be releasing a couple of new fleets, until all new fleets have been released, and the game is ready to come out of early access.

All of the old generic fleets are going to be replaced by Grimdark Future fleets, and some of the core rules are going to change as well, although only slightly. We've been playtesting this new version for months, and so far everyone has been loving it, so we can't wait to share this latest version with you!

3D Print - New Concept Art

At the top of this post you can see concept art for some of the models that will be released in August for the War Daemons, the Change Daemons, and the Saurian Starhost, plus the new Saurian legendary unit, the new Jackal and War Daemons loyalty rewards, and some new terrain for the War Daemons and Change Daemons.
