Hey Patreon,
I hope all is well. Lately we've been cranking through another 35+ minute episode about animal agriculture through the lens of water usage in the American West. Animal ag was one of the most requested episode topics, and we're breaking it up into discrete pieces so I don't spend 2 years on a 6-hour video that destroys my psyche.
The problem with filming a video about the American west in the middle of the summer is that it gets so hot I started to sweat from new places in my body. I genuinely didn't know shins or eyelids knew how to sweat. Honestly, congrats to them.
We had a 100-degree shoot day in Los Angeles when we were out there for the Hollywood Climate Summit and a 95-degree shoot day out on Young's Farm on Long Island, NY and I got sunburned BOTH DAYS despite like 6 applications of sunscreen. But alls well that ends well, we bought 8 pies from Young's Farm as a thank you for letting us use their lovely farm as a backdrop.
Can't wait to share this video with you later this summer as well as a couple other ones we've got in the pipeline right now.
Best,
Rollie and the Climate Town Team
