Last picture from the D.C. trip, I promise

Hey everyone,

I was so happy to see the Bill Clinton stubby thumbs up I practiced make it into the final picture, so in case you missed it, here it is.

Just a quick life update, I spent the past week in Colorado where I helped my parents clear out their house as they downsize. My parents are the kinds of people who never throw anything away, so it ended up being a bigger job than we expected. It's done now, but the unrelenting bevy of emotional whiplash I was getting from the old Christmas decorations and novelty t-shirts they had in their basement was WILD.

I also got a chance to act as one of the hosts of the Mountain Towns Climate Solutions Conference in Breckenridge, Colorado. It turns out these ski towns are feeling the sting of climate change (shorter ski seasons, fewer tourists, etc), but they're small enough that they can kinda make internal changes without a huge opposition. I got to talk to a handful of mayors and town council members and it made me really hopeful for the efficacy of local government.

Anyway, I'm excited to get back and get moving on a handful of videos. I'm trying a kind of new thing where my team is working on several videos simultaneously, so hopefully that'll increase the volume without decreasing the quality.
