Or read this TL;DR: - In 2021 we released a video about how influencers are being paid to shill gas stoves and how a successful marketing campaign has kept gas in our homes despite gas being quite a terrible thing to have in our homes. There was an old commercial sponsored by the gas industry that featured an impossibly lame rap about how great gas stoves are. I watched it dozens of times while editing the video and it got lodged in my brain. We had an end-of-the-year goal to hit 1600 patrons. We hit that goal. The consequence of hitting that goal was I would produce a more accurate version of the original rapping with gas video including some of the facts that we covered in the Climate Town gas episode. This is that rap.
